La Corvée is a collective from Alma, Quebec composed of members Pascal Bouchard, Geneviève Boucher, Rémy Leprise, and Bianka Robitaille. Their works mainly take the form of public intervention and performance, using a playful multimedia approach to deal with issues such as control of public and regional identity. La Corvée will collectively construct a bookwork that resembles a children’s book accompanied by a set of 6 cubes with images that can be interchanged and fit together to create a series of larger puzzle-like images relating to the history of the regional Alma community.
